Homegoing of Retired Missionary

Retired missionary Raymond Cook Sr. passed into the Lord’s presence on July 8, 2006. He was 93. Cook attended St. Paul Bible College (Crown College), where he met Helen Cornelius, and they were married in 1935. They served The Alliance in Gabon, West Africa for nearly 30 years. The couple moved to Fort Myers, Florida, in 1984 and then to Bismarck, North Dakota, in 1995. After Helen died, Cook married Wilma Elmer of Bismarck, who predeceased him 12 days earlier. 
     Raymond is survived by two daughters, one, son, ten grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandson, as well as two sisters and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 16, at Twin Cities Christian Fellowship (Simpson Memorial Church) in St. Paul, Minnesota, with funeral services at Baptist Home Chapel in Bismarck on Wednesday, July. 19.
