Team Joshua, an Alliance youth outreach in Papua, Indonesia, has begun a major AIDS awareness push. Along with 450 young people from local churches, Team Joshua members hit the streets, distributing brochures and information at all the teenage hang-out spots. Activities are planned throughout the week, culminating in a rally and concert on May 12. Later this month, a two-day seminar will provide training for Team Joshua youth to become AIDS counselors. “It is exciting to see [these young people] catching a vision of how they can help save their generation from AIDS,” says C&MA missionary Barry Jordan, who ministers with Team Joshua. “Please pray for Team Joshua's AIDS outreach program.”
