A news item on the C&MA Web site recently reported on the Cambodian government’s new restrictions on Christianity. The situation does not appear as serious as initial reports indicated; restrictions seem to be primarily focused upon some cult groups at work in Cambodia.
“The situation is still somewhat fluid,” says field director David Manfred, “so we appreciate continued prayer for the church in Cambodia.
“Pray that believers will stand firm in the faith and will have continued open doors for evangelism and discipleship ministries, as well as good opportunities to dialogue with the government about these matters. All three of these things are currently happening. Thank you for standing with us in prayer.”
