More than 30 people responded to the gospel during an evangelistic outreach in Ndorola, Burkina Faso. The Ndorola area has been the focus of Alliance ministry led by an Alliance worker for several years. Recently, a teammate joined him in the effort. The national pastor, Samuel, and his wife, Elizabeth, will follow up with the believers. The already full building of the Ndorola church now is overflowing with new Christians.
In the nearby village of Siri, the people previously have been closed to the gospel. It was uncertain whether or not missionaries would be allowed into the village for evangelistic purposes. Led by God, they went ahead with their plans. The first night of outreach, nearly 60 people responded to the gospel. “God is obviously at work in the hearts of the Siri people,” an Alliance missionary reported. “He is calling them to Himself.”
