More than 130 people received Jesus during an evangelism trip organized by the national Alliance Women’s committee in Burkina Faso, West Africa. A C&MA missionary came alongside the women and pastors in this effort.
“The Lord’s hand was on them as they prayed, preached, sang, and showed films,” he said. “In the village of N’Dorola, 43 people made decisions for Christ. The following Sunday morning, several of these new believers attended the service. In Siri, 69 people accepted Jesus as Savior for the first time. Many of the new converts there are older men.”
In another village, 14 people received Jesus. In addition, the Lord healed a woman who requested prayer for leg pain, as well as some children who were suffering from a skin disease. “We also went to the village of Ngorogerela and saw nine more decisions for Christ,” said the worker. “The Lord blessed the efforts of the pastors and the women, answering their prayers and calling people to Himself. It is a great privilege to be a part of the work in that area.”
“Continue to pray for follow-up,” the worker urged. “Pray for the pastors and lay leaders in the Kenedougou region who are on the front lines of a spiritual battle for souls.”
