New Director for Envision Culture

After a great deal of prayer, a careful search, and much consideration, The Alliance is pleased to announce that Ben Stewart will be the director for Envision Culture. Ben’s leadership of the Envision team begins in mid-September. Below is a brief biography that Ben has prepared.

BEN STEWART

Ben grew up on the East Coast until his family moved to Wisconsin. He spent a year in New Zealand, focusing on spiritual formation, faith stretching, and enjoying one of God’s most beautiful countries.

Sensing a clear call to return to college, Ben enrolled in Northwestern College in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he met and married his best friend, Kathy. After graduating with a degree in biblical studies, Ben served as a youth pastor at Elmbrook Church and Appleton Alliance Church (AAC) for a total of eight years. God then led him to the position of Missions and Community Outreach pastor at AAC, where he participated in short-term trips to Burkina Faso and Peru. Also while at AAC, Ben established an organization called 5-stones, which raises awareness of and works to prevent sex-trafficking.

From Appleton, Ben was called by the The Alliance to plant a church in Madison, Wisconsin. After laying a solid foundation for the church plant, the Stewarts accepted God’s call to fill the position of director for Envision Culture at The Christian and Missionary Alliance National Office in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Ben and Kathy are passionate about developing aspiring leaders as well as engaging and mobilizing future generations of Christians to make a crucial impact for the Kingdom.

Ben, Kathy, and their children, are excited about moving to Colorado Springs and allowing God to increase their capacity for the sake of the gospel.
