Mrs. Y., a member of the majority religion, sells goods at the market. When her son was born with a hernia, she had no money for the surgery. So she prayed.
Later that night, Jesus Christ appeared to Mrs. Y. in a vision. She told Him that if He healed her son, she would believe. The next morning, the boy was well.
I met Mrs. Y. at a discipleship training course where I had been invited to speak. My wife and I live on a road near a cemetery. Every day, we watch people being escorted to a Christ-less eternity. We have prayed for the Lord to send us more like-minded workers.
Mrs. Y. wanted to grow in her faith, so she decided to attend the training, but there was a misunderstanding. She left the course frustrated, feeling that Christians didn’t understand her. Fortunately, on the evening I spoke, I wrote my cell phone number on the board. Mrs. Y. called. She came to our house, and now we have a new team member to work with us in the harvest field of the marketplace.
What You Can Do
Pray for Alliance international workers and their ministry partners as they continue to reach out to those who need Jesus. Pray that their efforts will have a lasting impact on God’s Kingdom. Also, pray for Alliance workers around the world.
