University Student Receives Good News

By a creative-access worker

Each year in preparation for the holiday season, my colleagues and I invite interns who volunteer with our company to help decorate our office. Among the group that participated this Christmas were several university students. When we shared the Nativity story with them, we learned that three had never heard it before.

One of the students was quite moved by the story. During the next two weeks, he “coincidentally” heard the narrative two additional times from other people. Through these encounters, he decided to join the family of God.

Sitting with him over lunch last week, we were encouraged by the student’s desire to yield his life to Jesus and learn more about growing in the faith. Currently, the young man is being discipled one-on-one by an Alliance international worker.

Pray that this new believer will continue to walk with Jesus and that he will boldly share his faith with others.
