By Sue Danneker, serving in Thailand
Pet, a young man who was baptized in January, visited relatives with his family for a few weeks. When he came to church, he mentioned that he was worried about his grandmother, who is dying of cancer. He was shocked to see her so thin and frail.
A year ago, we had visited her with Pet to share the gospel. She was cordial but not ready to pray with us at that time. Pet wanted us to go again in hopes that she would be more receptive this time. Lek, one of the older men in our congregation, heard Pet’s plea and immediately offered to drive Pet, Pastor Sukprasan, and several others on the two-and-a-half-hour trip. I excused myself from a church-planting workshop to meet the group at Pet’s grandma’s house in Suphan Buri.
Praise God! This time she asked Jesus to be her Savior. Pet was relieved, but he is still praying that God will physically heal his grandma as well. Please join us in interceding for her healing.
