Update 09/15/2014: We praise God that the 9/11 anniversary date passed without a major incident that may have adversely impacted Alliance international workers in the Middle East or their ministries. Although hostilities continue throughout the region, Alliance workers are safe, continue to monitor developments, and exercise appropriate caution. Gratefully, opportunities to share the good news abound, and hurting people are interested in listening. Thank you for your prayers for the following:
- New team members are scheduled to arrive next week in one area. Pray for safe travel, smooth transition, and quick assimilation into the culture.
- Pray that people living in fear will be receptive to the gospel and choose to trust Jesus.
- Continue to pray for God’s protection for Alliance workers in the Middle East.
