Dear church leaders, pastors and congregations of The Christian and Missionary Alliance of France (AECM),
The hearts of your brothers and sisters in the Alliance churches of the United States go out to you.
The prayers of our congregations are lifted for you.
The compassion of our hearts is stirred for you.
We grieve with you, hope with you and extend our love to you.
May you have the grace to assemble without fear.
May you have the faith to worship without restraint.
May you have the courage to preach without compromise.
The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10a). You have experienced the reality of these words in a vivid way this weekend. However, may the last half of that verse be consistently and increasingly experienced among you, “But I (Jesus) have come that you might have life to the fullest.”
You are dear brothers and sisters to us, faithful servants of the King with us and examples of the beauty of Christ to us.
With respect and hope,
Dr. John Stumbo
President, U.S. C&MA
