Many of our international workers long to be back with their U.S. families for Christmas because, as the song goes, “There’s no place like home for the holidays.” But even more important to these faithful servants is the need to establish new Christmas traditions among the people they serve—who have so much to learn about the divine visitation and the establishment of Christ’s Kingdom here on earth.
Still, our workers do their best to surround themselves with the Christmas trappings of home to preserve (and create) precious memories. But gathering these trappings can be challenging in some parts of the world—like Burkina Faso.
