    A fire seriously damaged Bongolo Hospital’s warehouse in 2009, compelling two visitors who witnessed the fire to return home and begin searching for a fire truck on eBay®. Dave and Diann Conquest, parents of Dr. Keir Thelander’s wife, Joanna, found and purchased the 1975 Mack Fire Truck for about $3,000. And then helped raise some $20,000 to cover needed repairs and ship the truck to Africa.

    After a lengthy ocean voyage, the vehicle was released from customs this month and is now in Gabon. Learn how you can pray for the final leg of this 10-ton truck’s down-country journey to serve in Bongolo.
