Latin America

AboutFamilyRegions › Latin America

Some of the earliest works of The Alliance include pioneer efforts in Argentina, Chile, and Ecuador during the 1890s, and C&MA workers built the first Protestant chapels in Venezuela. Today, Alliance churches are located in 21 countries in this region of approximately 570 million people.

Whether ministering to children who live in garbage dumps or reaching out to professionals in Latin America’s gated communities, our workers minister daily around the region to share the good news that God loves all people and wants them to experience abundant life through Jesus Christ. From Guadalajara, Mexico, to Montevideo, Uruguay, our missionaries are working with national partners to share the hope of Christ with unreached people and to form local reproducing churches with a missionary vision.
