Bi-Vocational Pastor – Lee, Maine North Woods Community Church, located in north-eastern Maine, is seeking a part-time Pastor to provide spiritual and pastoral leadership to the congregation. We are seeking a pastoral leader who can lead an incarnational ministry to be established in Lee and surrounding communities, and who can build the body of believers spiritually and in numbers as new people are reached with the gospel. Lee Maine is a small town of about 900, located just 12 miles east of Lincoln and 60 miles north of the city of Bangor, Maine. The epitome of small-town America, Lee is a close-knit community set in a beautiful forested area prime for a variety of outdoor pursuits and recreation in all seasons. Lee is also home of the Lee Academy, a private day and boarding school that attracts international students, many from China. The Academy is located just down the street from the church. The mission of North Woods Alliance Church is to present Jesus in word and deed to all people and to make disciples by investing in others. We strive to grow in our relationship with Jesus and to love each other as Christ did. This position is a bi-vocational role; other employment and source of income will be required. Candidates already licensed or ordained with the C&MA are preferred; but all candidates must be able to meet licensing and ordination requirements with the C&MA.
