Western PA District C&MA

SOLO PASTOR NEAR PITTSBURGH Penn Hills Alliance Church prayerfully seeks a new lead pastor. Our church was founded in 1974. Current average Sunday morning attendance is 110+. We serve the populations of Penn Hills and Plum Borough less than 20 miles east of Pittsburgh, a suburban community. Our Search Team is ready to receive and review resumes approved by the WPA District for ministry in the Christian and Missionary Alliance, and to conduct preliminary interviews by phone or video. A personal visit and candidating weekend will be hosted for the applicant who emerges from the search process as the apparent best match for our church. Resumes (including references) should be sent to the WPA District Office (andersonk@cmawpa.org). A complete church profile and other vital information will be made available to approved applicants. Sunday ministries include 9:30 am Connect (Sunday School), 10:45 am Worship Service and Children’s Church. Additional ministries/programs include VBS, Missions Conference, and Women’s Bible Study on Thursdays, and Titus 2 Women’s ministry. Our present worship form is a mix of contemporary and traditional. The multi-level church building consists of a 250 seat worship center, a fellowship and recreation hall, two full kitchens, 3 offices, 10 classrooms, small library, 2 nurseries, elevator situated on 8 acres in Penn Hills, PA. Building was constructed in two phases in 1972 and 1996. Three outbuildings are used for equipment storage. The parking lot capacity is approximately 80 vehicles with required handicap parking. Parking lot repaving will eventually be needed, but there are no other significant property issues. Please see the WPA District web site for more information: www.cmawpa.org.
