Worship Director Part-Time | Anchorage, AK With regard to the musical side, the Worship Director will: 1. Lead and oversee the worship team, including all instrumentalists and vocalists. 2. Recruit new, qualified members to the worship team. 3. Plan, prepare, and lead the music and other worship elements for Sunday services and other special services (Good Friday, Christmas Eve, etc.) in collaboration with the Lead Pastor and/or main speaker. 4. Proactively develop new worship leaders as time and opportunities allow. With regard to the Audio / Visual Tech side, the Worship Director will: 1. Lead, recruit, and coordinate teams of audio/visual tech volunteers for each weekend. 2. Generate training opportunities for new audio / visual tech workers as needed. 3. Maintain a projection interface like ProPresenter for use with ministry events. With regard to equipment, the Worship Director will: 1. Maintain, inventory, and care of all sound / video / media equipment. 2. Purchase or acquire new equipment as budgeted and needed. With regard to the worship ministry as a whole, the Worship Director will: 1. Utilize and maintain an appropriate software or web-based planning interface like Planning Center for ministry coordination. 2. Maintain the online music library in compliance with CCLI copyright laws. 3. Meet regularly with the lead pastor (and church staff if able) to maintain good communication and be a part of ministry and vision development. 4. Develop and manage an annual budget for the worship ministry to be approved by the Lead Pastor and Governing Board. 5. Give a written annual report every year. 6. Perform other responsibilities as determined by the Lead Pastor.
