Standards: This is a part time position which will require approximately 8 - 10 hours a week. The youth pastor will be responsible for his own transportation. The youth pastor must have a personal testimony (statement of faith). Duties and responsibilities: Each week, the youth minister would be expected to participate in Sunday morning services, a mid-week session for middle and high school youth, participating in leadership team meetings and other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: The youth minister should have theological training at an approved post-secondary educational institution or related experience with Christian youth ministry or a fundamental protestant church. Must have a proven track record of lifestyle evangelism, discipleship and should be capable of training others in those skills. Must be teachable and willing to be teach others. Accountability: The youth minister shall be directly responsible to the Senior Pastor and to the Leadership and ultimately God. He will report monthly to the Leadership Board.
