The closing Missions Rally, as international workers paraded through the hall, donning the traditional garb of the people throughout the world whom they have been called to live and work among. Alliance Missions Vice President Tim Crouch unpacked the new face of Alliance missions by introducing the leaders of each of the Alliance specialized structures. Mark and Vivian Shady gave testimony of Gods faithfulness in the merging of their families and lives together and in the establishment and growth of fruitful Alliance ministry in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Development Vice President Tim Meier reminded the Alliance family that we were saved not for ourselves but for the One who saved us and for those He longs to seek and save; that we are joining a shepherd in pursuit of His sheep. The service culminated with the commissioning of a record number of new international workers being sent to regions beyond.

The U.S. Alliance family gathers for its 115th Council meeting to discover what going “beyond” means in the inward and upward journey with God, in day-to-day life and ministry, and in taking all of Jesus to all the world.
