A Fond Farewell

As Ed and Sue Danneker, Alliance workers in Thailand, attended their final worship service at Mahapawn New Vision Church before departing for home assignment, they looked with tearful eyes upon a congregation of nearly fifty people. “More than 80 percent of them did not know the Lord even three years ago,” said the Dannekers. “God has raised up a people for Himself in Talingchan, a community in Bangkok. We praise Him for a godly pastor, four trained lay leaders, and a church that is self-supporting. They are on their own now in terms of missionary help. But better than missionaries, they have the Lord on their side.”
The Dannekers express gratitude for the Alliance family’s prayers over the years. “So many of them have been answered,” they said. “Please continue to lift up Mahapawn New Vision Church in Bangkok. Pastor Rangsan carries a heavy load. Pray that God will be his strength, that church members will remain faithful in serving the Lord, and that He will add to their number, even daily!”
