Prayer Letter/Ministry Update

Thanksgiving is coming...we have so much to be thankful for!! God seems to be leaving His fingerprints all around to remind us that He is with us and in control.

And we find ourselves facing challenges that also remind us that we need to stay on our knees.

There are many important decisions that need to be made in the next weeks .... please pray that our hearts will be in tune to His and in tune with those around us.

We have been waiting to update you because we have been waiting for some answers...

I am going to insert the responses in the following requests! Thanks SOO much for your prayers!
I hope you are encouraged as you read through the updates....God answers prayer!

We have sold the office and need to be moved into our home office by September 10. So there is a lot of sorting, shredding, and packing going on again! We know this was the Lord because we did not even have time to put out a FOR SALE sign. God did not need one of those. :)

UPDATE: All of that has happened and the dust has settled and we are enjoying working out of our home. We were suppose to sign the final document on Sept 10th well....things move alittle slow here and we just signed on Sept 25 and received the money for the sale.

The Airport church has gotten permission from the city to start their construction project...We will be starting Sept 15th. We are going to be able to give them a jump start with the finances...because of the sale of the office. Fun to see God's timing.
They will continue to work as long as they have funds.

UPDATE: We received the money just in time (as the Lord always is) for our "kick-off" service yesterday Sept. 27 where Tim preached and was able to present the check for the beginning of our construction project. For awhile we thought maybe we would have to give them a "fake" check but very happy to have been able to give them the real stuff. :)

JoLee started her seminary class. Pray that she will have a good sememster with her students.

UPDATE: She is having a good semester with her students. We are discussing what it means to be a disciple...God is teaching us all a lot.

We participated in an English weekend where we met some new friends. Pray for us as we follow up on these contacts and pray that they will want to know our Friend.

UPDATE: We have started to have two "English Evenings" a month in our home to invite friends. Pray that it will be a good outreach and not just a fun night of English....we are having a lot of fun!

The last weekend of August we are having a retreat with a team of pastors. Pray that we will have good times of sharing.

UPDATE:
We had a great time with our pastors. We continue to see the importance of walking along side of our minstry families and encouraging them.

We will be having another Marriage Encounter in September. 18th -20th Pray for healing of marriages and salvation of souls.

UPDATE: We had a wonderful weekend. 45 couples participated and there were couples on a waiting list. Saturday night Sept 26th, we had the follow-up meeting with 39 of the 45 couples returning!! That is our best turn-out ever in our 16 encounters that we have had! Keep praying for these couples!!

Continue to pray for our "settling-in" process. It seems to have taken us alittle longer this time....both physically and emotionally. We have a few more weeks as we get the office set up here and get used to working out of our home.

UPDATE: Thanks for your prayers...we feel more settled. Pray that we will be filling our agendas with divine appointments.
