Worldwide Day of Prayer

November 11, 2009

Nyack/ATS president Michael G. Scales has designated Wednesday, November 11, 2009 “A Day of Prayer and Fasting” for “The Miracle in Manhattan.” No matter where you are in the world–for a full day, we are asking our students, alumni, administrators, trustees, faculty, staff, and a network of friends and colleagues around the globe to join us in prayer.

We are particularly asking you to unite with us in prayer on that day from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. (EST), as we petition God on behalf of a pursuit that will bring Him glory by ultimately serving others. Will you join the prayer circle forming around the globe for a breakthrough that will enable us to accomplish our goal?

The Home Assignment Ministry Seminar will be held July 5-10, 2010 in conjunction with LIFE 2010. Imagine thousands of Alliance Youth interacting with missionaries and international workers fresh from the fields they serve. You will have every opportunity for spiritual renewal, tour preparation, and re-entry seminars while passing the vision of Alliance missions to youth from all over the country. The Alliance believes wholeheartedly in the power and necessity of prayer. We cannot “Live the Call Together” unless prayer is central to all we do—as a denomination, as churches, and as individuals.
