Prayer Letter/Ministry Update

We have been in the northern part of the country now since the summer of 2007. Pray for us as we help our new couples get settled into language study and focus on new doors of opportunity.

We are most thankful for the internet that keeps us in close touch with not only our missionaries in Dakar and the new couples in France, but also with our family around the world.

Our children:
Shawn and Becky and children are working with CAMA in Bamako, Mali. Matt and Rachel and children are learning Arabic in the middle east.
We do have children in the States; Ruth and Chris are attending Boone Alliance in Iowa. Abby and Brian continue ministry in inner-city St. Louis. Both these couples ask prayer for God’s leading for their future work and ministry. Ben graduated from TFC this past spring. His plans are for medical school.

Joel and Elin Bubna just arrived the summer of 09 to join us with Ministry in Dakar. They and the Babyaks, Snowdons and Davis families are very busy with Wolof language study. The Stephens family will be joining us in December. They need your prayers too as language study is very vital to ministry and often a struggle with young children.
Pray also for our colleagues W. and C. N. who are sharing in churches in the States.

Prayer Requests/Answers to Prayer

Prayer requests:

For the work that has been started via the College of Prayer to continue to bring much fruit
For unity among all the workers in this harvest field.
For wisdom to guide the Alliance teams here in Senegal.
For wisdom to help our new couples, finding good housing for them in good locations. Presently we are looking for the Davis family.
For continued improvement in our Wolof language aptitude!!
For an opening to the Gospel as never before
