Prayer Letter/Ministry Update

Dear Friends and Family,

We are now back in America and all moved in! This past term in Cambodia has been a good one. God used the medical ministry effectively in helping to open hearts to the love of Jesus Christ. We have seen a growing maturity in the churches. New lives have been won to the Savior, and disciples have been made. God is at work in drawing people to Himself in Cambodia - as He is in many countries in these last days.

But He is also at work in winning people that back home, here in America. And that is exciting. Although we return at a time of great political and social unrest, God is doing something new in America. If you read the headlines, you might get the impression that everything is coming apart.
We are looking forward to our home assignment and greatly hope to see many of you during speaking tour - and during visits to your homes and churches. We hope to be an encouragement to you and to share together with you the joy of the Lord at work in our midst. Thank you so much for the honor of representing you in far-away Cambodia. Its a blessing to be able to minister there - and our work is only possible because of your commitment to support the the expansion of the Lord Jesus Christ's Kingdom. May God bless you for it.

Peace, love and joy in Christ. Kent and Chris Copeland

Prayer Requests/Answers to Prayer

1) Pray that the leadership of the Living Water Church will continue to grow strong, that the people will be zealous for Christ, love each other, and will not tolerate false teachers or false doctrine.

2) Please pray for the Body of Christ in Cambodia, that it will hold strong against the spirit of this age and Materialism - standing strong in love and unity.

3) We praise God for the many family and friends who helped us make this transition stateside an easy one. PTL, we have a nice rented home, transportation (good used cars), cell phone service and air conditioning - with no critters, snakes or small mammals in the house (what a change from overseas!). Our local church went all out to get us relocated and moved in. God has blessed us to overflowing by means of His people and their kindness towards us.

4) Please pray for our 5 kids. We will have 3 taking full time college courses this fall. After a gap year, our fourth will be going off to college in IN or IL. Our youngest daughter is doing terrific despite her disability. It is our fondest desire to see all our 5 children following the Lord and raising godly families.
