Prayer Letter/Ministry Update

Dear Friends and Family,

We are happy to be back in our beloved Cambodia, although our home assignment back in the US sure was a super one. It's been hard to say good-bye to our friends and family for another 4 years. We already miss you.

We have moved in to a nice house near our friends and co-laborers, Soeuth and Syna Lao. This puts us in the right place to be involved in their active ministry reaching out to youth and young adults, as people come and hang out at the Laos at all hours - for Bible study as well as for fellowship and backyard sports. Our kids are going to thrive in this atmosphere.

We have had a number of uninvited visitors to our home: 4 scorpions, a wasp (Beth stepped on it and got stung), a tree frog, lots of mosquitos (watch out for Dengue fever), a wandering dog, a couple of night time swarms of "mayflies" (like giant termites with wings, they suddenly hatch at night after a rain and find access into the house from every imaginable crack and crevice), a big spider, and several field rats. We continue to welcome the wall lizards, as they do their part in keeping down the mosquito population and don't make much noise. Hope your homes are as lively as ours is!

Thanks for your prayerful support and determination to get out the Great News about our Wonderful Savior. Your brothers and sisters are multiplying all over the world.

Your co-laborers in His service, Kent and Chris

Much love and appreciation,
Kent and Chris

Appreciatively,
Kent and Chris

Prayer Requests/Answers to Prayer

1) Pray that the people in our area would have tender hearts for the Gospel; that they would receive the Good News with joy; that their foundations will go deep and true in Christ Jesus; that they will have hearts determined to carry the Gospel to the many unreached peoples in this region.

2) Please pray that our first attempt at online high schooling for CJ and Amberle will go great!

3) Thank you to all our friends whose committment to the Great Commission has resulted in sacrificial prayer and giving for the worldwide effort on behalf of our precious Jesus. May the Father use our combined service to great ly extend His Son's Kingdom of Light in these Last Days. We are your co-laborers and cheerleaders!

Pray.

The Alliance believes wholeheartedly in the power and necessity of prayer. We cannot “Live the Call Together” unless prayer is central to all we do—in our denomination, in our churches, and in our individual lives.

Give.

You can help build Christ’s Church around the world by donating online to the Great Commission Fund. This central funding vehicle allows our international workers to focus on ministry rather than raising financial support.
