Scot and Carrie Dressler
Prayer Letter/Ministry Update
We are facing language study once again! We already started some basic Hebrew lessons to prepare us for the class we will be attending full-time come September. I'm committed to this second phase of language study, but the rigors of another full-time program seem overwhelming. We appreciate your prayers on our behalf!
We had wonderful retreat with like-minded folks this past week. What a blessing to gather together, pray for each other and the work God is doing, and have the chance to hear from His Word. Thanks to all who were involved in this year's retreat, including the childcare workers!
We are getting settled into our house, readjusting to the culture and language, and reconnecting with friends. Please keep praying for our adjustment and all the transitions the kids are facing.
Thank you for praying for my grandfather, Papa Joe. Sadly, we lost him on June 26. It was an emotional month as we said goodbye to him and then left Na-na back in Pennsylvania. We spent time with her almost daily and we know that our leaving has left her lonely. That's been difficult to process. Pray that God wraps His arms of love around her through the coming months. She loves and misses her husband and now her great-grandchildren.

It would be awesome if a church or churches in the US would say “we feel like God has given us a Great Commission responsibility in Jerusalem. We’re gonna send short term workers every year. We’re gonna pray for and support and put our own hands to the work that is being done in Jerusalem.” Please let us know if you feel led to partner in this way!
We have much to be grateful for. Thank you for your faithful prayers on our behalf. Keep praying for us, and keep praying for God's work in the Holy Land.
Serving with joy~~

Pray.
The Alliance believes wholeheartedly in the power and necessity of prayer. We cannot “Live the Call Together” unless prayer is central to all we do—as a denomination, as churches, and as individuals.
Give.
You can help build Christ’s Church around the world by donating online to the Great Commission Fund. This fund finances our missionaries, allowing them to focus on ministry rather than raising their own support.
Serve.
Is God calling you to full-time service? Do you want to experience missions firsthand by participating in a short-term missions trip? We want to help you connect your passion with God’s purpose.
