Prayer Letter/Ministry Update

Patty and I are presently serving as Missionary-in-residence at Nyack College. We have taught classes and been involved in promoting missions. We will be returning to Indonesia in June 2009. PLEASE PRAY that we will finish well and return renewed to start a new term.

Our oldest daughter, Jennifer, will be completing her first year at Nyack College and will be moving into the dorm when we return to Indonesia. PLEASE PRAY for Jennifer and for us as we have our first ever prolonged separation.

We return to Indonesia where our CMA church split is still unresolved. PLEASE PRAY for peace and unity.

We will continue to focus on discipleship, youth and evangelism.

Prayer Requests/Answers to Prayer

Team Joshua Youth Ministry
Motto: To become a disciple of Christ to disciple others.

?Pray for the 400 members in four cities that they would be discipled and that they would disciple others. Pray, too, that they would be salt and light to their communities.
?Pray for Jerry, Alfa, and Susan as Team Joshua leaders who oversee the spiritual development of the students.
?Pray for the many outreach ministries of Team Joshua: churches, banks, hotels, universities, concerts, prisons and especially our AIDS outreach.

TITIP Ministry/Discipleship and Training Center

?Pray for the young people who come for a year of discipleship and training.

TEPAT/Cross-cultural Ministry Training and our kindergarten outreach
Motto: Becoming all things to all men.

?Pray for Marinus Zenderato (an MBB) as the leader of TEPAT.
?Pray for plans to build our eleventh kindergarten in transmigrant areas as vehicles for contextualized ministries.
?Pray for Hengki and his wife who will be serving in Aceh as part of the rebuilding process.
