Caleb and Erin Kohl

At the end of July, Caleb participated in our annual English Camps, which were once again a great success! The 60 teenagers (30 for each week of camp) connected with God, with each other, and with native English speakers from our teams that came from the States. It is encouraging each year to see the teens who return and how they have progressed in their walk with the Lord over the past year. It's also exciting to see new kids come, often encountering God for the first time in their lives. Please continue praying for these students as we follow up with them through the year and encourage them to continue pursuing their walk with the Lord.

In October, Erin participated in a Girls' Weekend for our high school girls. This is something we do each year as a follow-up and building on the relationships from the summer camps. We had 10 girls, mostly from right here in our region. It was a great weekend of hearing about Christ as our Anchor. We worshiped together, laughed together, played and had fun together. Please continue to pray for these girls' relationships with the Lord, and for our continued follow up with them.

We have had three Brick Brunches (formerly known as Lego Brunch) so far in this school year. We have had at least 4-5 families at each brunch, and we continue to be encouraged by the engagement we see on these days. This is a great opportunity for us to share stories from the Word as well as have good conversations and make deeper connections with people in the community. Please pray for our next Brick Brunch coming up on Saturday, the 8th of December.

We also continue to have our regular weekly and monthly ministries: Caleb leads a conversational English group for adults every other week and he helps with youth group every Friday night. Our youth group had the opportunity to join together with another youth group this year, and it has been really great to see the two groups come together. It's been an encouragement to the leaders of both groups as well as to the teems. Erin teaches English at a local evangelical school as well as a group for kids at the local community center. Please continue to pray for these various ministries and the fruit we hope to see from them.

Another very exciting thing that has been happening with our team is the ministry center. As many of you know, we were able to purchase a property two years ago through the generous giving of so many supporters. Since July, we have been working on renovating the guest house on the back of the property, and we are thrilled to say that it is mostly finished! Our teammates, including our German apprentice, have been working very hard to get it up and running, and we are very thankful for all of the work they have put in! There are still plenty of projects to be completed, though!

Coming up in February, we have our English Day Camp for Elementary age kids. Erin and our teammate Sarah will heading up this camp that will have 60 elementary age kids, a team of German workers, as well as two teams from the States. Please pray for all of the details to come together smoothly and for God to continue to us this to build relationships in the community as well as giving opportunity to share the love of Christ with others.

We are always so thankful for the support that you provide through your prayers, encouragement, and gifts. We are praying for each of you, that the Lord will bless you and that you will hear his voice in this season.
