What do we do as Regional Directors?
We serve 118 international workers in 12 countries. It is our privilege to encourage, support, counsel and advocate for these Sent Ones throughout Europe and the ME. Because of the size of the region, we are often traveling. We have the great joy of celebrating what God is doing and seeing much of it is first hand. It would be great to get to take all of you along with us to see people worshipping God in their native tongues, to meet people who once walked in darkness and now walk in the light, to pray with international workers who give their all for the sake of Christ is stretching...joyous...exhausting...exhilarating...humbling...rich...

Strategic Field Review
What a joy for us to be part of a week-long process on the Arab Lands field the end of February where we were able to celebrate all that God has done, all He is doing and to help seek Him for further fruitful ministry in the future. We were able to visit three of the areas of ministry and see how God is at work among the majority background of the countries. Highlights were seeing how God is using our workers in Center ministries, refugee work and education. We visited with each of the international workers on the ground there...They are true heros of the faith! The week was intense but rewarding. God is at work through your prayers!

On the Home Front
Jerry's face has healed well after surgery. Praise the Lord!
It's a very busy season for the kids...Anna and Jason finished strong in basketball and they were both able to play in the tournament on the vasity teams. Now it's soccer season - all three just finished try-outs and are excited to play their favorite sport!
Jason volunteered to participate in the multicultural service at our church by reading a passage of Scripture in German. He did a GREAT job!
BFA's high school retreat was the first weekend of March in Switzerland. Our kids were encouraged by the speaker and time with their small groups. We are so thankful for the opportunities our kids are getting to build a strong foundation of faith!
Spring break starts the end of next week. Katie will be off to Bangladesh, and the twins will join us in Bosnia for a visit to that field. The second week of spring break will bring much needed rest for all of us. Katie will spend a few days with a friend in Slovenia. She just got back from a "field trip" to Madrid, Spain with her Spanish 3 class. Her passport is getting used this semester!

Val, the regional financial coordinator and Kragt "dorm Mom" will be leaving for her 3 month home assignment the middle of this month. We will miss her!

Prayer Requests/Answers to Prayer

Grace and health for the whole family with our busy travel schedule.
Fruit in the spiritually dark places of the world and more workers for the harvest field!
