Prayer Letter/Ministry Update

Thank you for all of you who had inquired on how we fared when the typhoon Marokot visited at the beginning of this month. All our C&MA missionaries were not affected.
I’ll be moving to Cidu this coming Wednesday, September 2nd. Cidu is one of the seven districts of Keelung City located northeast of Taipei City. Cidu district is 56 km² in size with around 55,000 population. Praise God with the help with the C&MA missionary couple, Soo and Hannah Hwang, for providing me a suitable apartment. The apartment is within five to ten minutes walk from church, traditional market, and everything else. Last week, I started saying goodbyes to friends, finished full time language study, and continued packing. Moving there will start another page of my life. I’ll be joining Soo and Hannah in reaching out to the local community in Cidu.

Prayer Requests/Answers to Prayer

Please continue to pray for the eastern and southern parts of Taiwan where many lives are lost and damages are severe. Please especially pray for Miss Li, a Bible school intern serving in the Alliance church in Cidu. Her home village was buried in a landslide and she lost a number of her family members.

Please pray for adjustment for us all, Soo and Hannah and me as we work as a team. Pray for people there that their hearts will be softened. I have been there several times and feel like we are digging on hard grounds.
