Prayer Letter/Ministry Update

We are currently in the Atlanta area on a leave of absence. The medical issues that brought us home from Spain have been diagnosed, and we are waiting to see how things work out over time. Doctors at Mayo Clinic finally labeled Ivan's liver problems as a benign syndrome that will produce times of illness but that shows no signs of being life-threatening.

Mayte is teaching Spanish at a Christian school, and Ivan is working as a television producer with In Touch Ministries (Dr. Charles Stanley). Both Eva and Felipe have made the transition well and are enjoying the States, school and life in general.

The Lord has been so faithful to us in these last few difficult years. The Christian and Missionary Alliance, our home church, Lilburn Alliance, and so many individuals have done so much to take stress and strain off of us and to help us through the many transitions, medical appointments and other things we have faced. David Lauffer at the C&MA home office and John Corby, our European regional director, have really gone out of their way to make sure that we could simply focus on getting better and getting settled into life here.

Please remember the Great Commission Fund of the C&MA. It is what keeps missionaries on the field doing the work of spreading the Gospel. Please consider giving to the GCF through your local Alliance church or online at cmalliance.org.
