Prayer Letter/Ministry Update
March 20, 2013
Easter blessings!
Greetings from the Caribbean once again.
We are currently teaching Synoptic Gospels and Call to Ministry in three different regions of the country. These are 12 week courses in the Alliance Bible Institute.
The women’s POEMA Bible study continues to meet every Thursday after aerobics class to study the Gospel of John. There is a continual stream of new visitors each week. Please pray that they come to know Jesus Christ as their personal savior and to grow in discipleship.
During our final three months of this term we will be visiting in several churches to share about the urgent need for the Dominican Christian and Missionary Alliance to transition from receiving missionaries to sending missionaries. Pray the Lord of Harvest to send forth Dominican workers into the waiting world.
Please pray as we make preparations for our Home Assignment year in the U.S. We look forward to General Council in Tampa, Florida in mid-June. Our son Christopher and daughter-in-law will be presented to go out as international workers. Prayers are needed for them as they prepare for departure with their four children in August.
Pray for Patrick as he continues to work with In Touch Ministries in Atlanta. We are sending you a link to an article written by him in a recent In Touch magazine:

May we have an attitude of gratitude. In Luke’s gospel Jesus asked Peter and other disciples if they lacked anything when they were sent out to preach and minister. Their reply: "No, nothing."(22.35) We own no home, we own no car, yet in a similar vein we thank the Lord for His provision. We are grateful to write that your faithful support and prayers have been a tremendous part of that provision.
Thank you so much for your partnership in prayer and giving!

Get Involved...
Pray.
The Alliance believes wholeheartedly in the power and necessity of prayer. We cannot “Live the Call Together” unless prayer is central to all we do—in our denomination, in our churches, and in our individual lives.
Give.
You can help build Christ’s Church around the world by donating online to the Great Commission Fund. This central funding vehicle allows our international workers to focus on ministry rather than raising financial support.
Serve.
Is God calling you to full-time service? Do you want to participate in a short-term missions trip and experience missions work firsthand? We’re here to help you connect your passion with God’s purpose.
