During the last few weeks, we enjoyed many opportunities to speak about Jesus to many groups.
A special highlight was a week of evangelism that took place as a group of youth walked to seven churches from December 25 to 31. During this time 119 people committed their lives to Jesus, and 56 asked to be baptized. We praise the Lord for the renewing work in the Ibele!
We are reminded of the many faithful prayer warriors who commit our ministry to the Lord. Were there hearts that were more open because you prayed? Were meetings more effective and unified because of your intercession? Were the gates of hell held back because you engaged? We believe so!
This week I read a story of a Palestinian man who came to know the Lord. In his vision he encountered Jesus, who affirmed that He is the way, the truth, and the life. Next to Jesus were the folded hands of the man’s childhood servant who had faithfully prayed for him. I believe the Lord allowed the man to see his servant to show how our prayers matter. God invites us to be engaged! He encourages us to be devoted in prayer. May this New Year find us all the more committed!

Pray
- Praise God for the successful outreach last weekend. Pray for the new believers to grow strong in their faith and for area pastors to disciple them well.
