. . . so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God. Therefore we do not lose heart (2 Corinthians 4:15–16).
During this Thanksgiving season God’s people have much for which to be grateful. Although the year’s headlines—terrorism, Ebola, tensions between Russia and Ukraine as well as Israel and Palestine—have tempted loss of heart, as U.S. Alliance President John Stumbo reminds us:
“These are days of unparalleled ministry opportunities, opportunities for the light of Jesus to shine.
“Together, we’re engaged in history’s most significant work . . . preparing the way for Christ’s return by bringing the gospel to the earth’s least-reached places—the greatest headlines of all!”
Thanks to your partnership this year—through your prayers and financial gifts to the Great Commission Fund—Alliance workers have shared the good news of Jesus Christ around the world. We trust that during this holiday of praise, you will be encouraged that the “grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.”
