  • Missions Conference Promotion Kit

    

    In July of each year, every Alliance church is mailed a Missions Conference Promotion Kit (MCPK). This kit informs you of the missions emphasis as well as provides promotional resources for your church to use.

    The 2012-2013 Missions Conference theme—Be Light—reminds us of our sacred trust to be the bearers of His light. Use the materials on the following page to equip yourself and others to be light to your neighborhood and the nations.

    For much of our history, The Alliance has had at its helm missions leaders of great vision. These visionaries have been casting the vision of global missions and encouraging us, as Jesus did, to Go into all the world and make disciples.   • Vision* Mediterranean

    October 8–22, 2014

    

    Walk the shores of North Africa and reflect on the fact that you could approach nearly 35,000 people before one could tell you about salvation through the work and person of Jesus Christ. Then swing over to Portugal, where many people may have a heritage of Christianity, but the heart and meaning has all but been lost in so many lives.

  * Vision Trips are designed to give leaders and lay people first-hand exposure to Alliance international ministries by visiting one or more countries and interacting with our international workers in their ministry context. These trips usually involve a team of 20 or more participants and are perfect for a first-time trip for adults.

  ** Totally In Trips are specifically for leaders who are seriously considering a partnership with the field that is visited. Participants form a smaller team than for a Vision Trip and should be leaders with decision-making roles at their local church. For these reasons, participation is limited to 2-3 people from each church.

Learn more about unreached people groups by visiting the Joshua Project web site. Joshua Project is a research initiative seeking to highlight the ethnic people groups of the world with the least followers of Christ.

The Light of the World Poster
